Thanks, Charlie. I'm excited to have my earlier trilogy available for new readers in digital format. I've always loved writing (and reading) futuristics, so I am glad the market has turned around for them. Now we have more wonderful sci fi romances available than ever!

Yes, Mary, books are wonderful. My house is overflowing with them. I have to get an ereader device to keep up but in the meantime, there's lots to keep me busy in the TBR pile. Many terrific authors here to explore at The Galaxy Express.

I loved Galaxy Quest too, but haven't seen it in a while, so don't remember any lines. It's a fun movie, though! My favorite sci-fi flick right now is the new Star Trek movie.

Great post. Great advice for the author, and applies to any genre, really. Even a contemporary has a "world" around the characters.

My favorite line from Galaxy Quest (and yes, I've been known to use it on my kids at soccer and volleyball games):

"NEVER GIVE UP! NEVER SURRENDER!"

I have thought of those movies in a while. I really like the one with Tim in it. Those aliens really thought they were their characters. I kept picturing them do this to leonard nimoy. I need to go check out your books especially your older ones. I believe Il've read some of them. I was reading things like that back then.
