Great interview! More books for my Leaning Tower of TBR. And wow, working with dolphins! That would be my dream job. Well, that and working with orcas.

I was at the 2009 FF&P dinner when Isabo's name was announced and everyone at her table said, "Isabooooo!" That clued me in her pen name probably originated from Ladyhawke. :)

As for the dolphins in space, LOL, I actually never have done anything like that. I tend to use my knowledge of biology and animal behavior to help develope any aliens I use in my fiction. But never done a dolphin-like species. Maybe one day... :)

SFR is one of the trickiest sub-genres to nail, but it also has the most untapped potential. Get ready for it to EXPLODE sometime soon. SF fans are softies really, they just don't like to admit most of their stories are already steeped in romanticism. And romance readers...well, they're already on Cloud 9, right?

Great to see writers like Isabo showing us what we've been missing. I'd love to win a copy of THE PROMISE OF KIERNA’RHOAN. 't would have to be digital, though, because I hail from from the United Kingdom of OTT movie villains.
