I don't do e-books so this has not ever come up for me. I have to sit in frount of a computer screen nine or ten hours a day for work so don't want to do it at home for my leisure time. The several hundred dollar cost to buy an e-reader is insane when I can get more books than I could ever read for free at my local library. Plus I know te whole idea of going paperless should make publishing cheaper and easiser for everyon but it seems like a step backward or inserting technology between the reader and the fiction. Reading a book does not require me worry about any sort of format miss match. I don't have to worry about batteries. I can do it anywhere any time.<BR/><BR/>Honestly I'm not a Luddite. I LOVE my computer and think spell-check was God's personal gift to me, but I just do not get the appeal of e-readers. I really don't get the appeal of reading anything off the tiny screen of and i-pod/pda/cell phone.
