Anna Hackett's BENEATH A TROJAN MOON Is a 2015 ELLA Award Finalist

The 2015 RWA Australia ELLA Award finalists were announced and among them is Anna Hackett for her novella BENEATH A TROJAN MOON. Congratulations!

Here's more information per the announcement post:

We are delighted to announce the finalists in the 2015 Ella, RWA’s reader-judged contest for published novellas.

Drumroll for and congratulations to:

Her Christmas Earl by Anna Campbell
Home for Christmas by Fiona Greene
Beneath a Trojan Moon by Anna Hackett
Sympathy for the Devil by Kelly Hunter

The competition for a spot on this list was fierce, with 40 entries in a range of genres.

The winner will be announced at RWA’s national conference in Melbourne in August.
I find the news especially cool since a) I enjoyed the story so much I gave it an SFR Galaxy Award (scroll down) and can attest to the nomination being well-deserved and b) Ms. Hackett wrote this customized story after I blogged about how intrigued I was by Relda's character in AT STAR'S END.

The ELLA achievement is great validation for Anna Hackett and I must say as the book's lucky reader I feel rather giddy about it myself. This is yet another reason why sci-fi romance rocks!

Joyfully yours,
Heather
